N.R.C. List Policy

This list is a service of the National Radio Club, and is free. This list is
not a part of any DX News, e-DXN or DX Audio Service subscription.
This list is a moderated list. Subscription to the list must be approved by the moderator. The moderator approves subscriptions within 72 hours of your request. The moderator controls the listl. The moderator may remove persons posting to the list who violate the intended purpose of the list.
Posts to the list must include your real name and QTH (City & State). Anonymous posts or disguising your identity is prohibited.
The purpose of the dxtip list is to pass timely DX information in a brief form to alert other DX'ers on the dxtip list to unusual DX events.
Obscene language, libelous statements, religious or ethnic slurs, and direct or indirect attacks on individuals are not condoned and may subject the offender to immediate removal from this listserv. The list is to be used for the intended purpose listed above
The National Radio Club, its Board of Directors, Publishers, Editors, and membership is not responsible for mail transmission issues, and is not obligated to resolve problems or offer assistance.
Posts retransmitted to other lists and publications must contain the phrase, "The following is from the National Radio Club's dxtip List".
HTML, RTF, and attachments are not allowed. Text only, please. Please edit the amount of quoting to prevent rejections of posts. Post limits are 700 bytes of text.
When replying to a message, remove as much of the original message from your reply as practical. Edit out Signature files or footers, Juno, Yahoo, Excite, or Hotmail ads. Never quote back an entire message without some editing!
If your mail becomes blocked, show the block message to your provider and ask them to correct the problem. The National Radio Club cannot fix the problem, nor is responsible for any mail issues.
The National Radio Club reserves the right to prohibit use of this list due to violations of list policy.
Amendment 19 Feb 2005, N.R.C. Board of Directors:
Ignorance of the policy which a participant has agreed to by subscribing, does
not create and excuse of violation of this policy. Violators will be warned
once, suspended for a specific term the second time, and refused use of the
list on the 3rd infraction. If you subscribe, but now do not wish to follow the
policy, you should unsubscribe and seek another list.
